Family Run Small Business Wins Retailer of the Year

Chosen from over three hundred stores nationally, North-Lincolnshire based Equisign Tack and Feed were crowned winners of the Retailer of the Year 2022 at the prestigious Equestrian Business Awards sponsored by Equilibrium Products. The store had already previously won two best retail display competitions.

Despite being family run, the store opens 7 days a week and employs friendly helpful staff, on occasion opening outside of hours for the odd emergency. Practical product demonstration videos are a popular feature on the Equisign’s social media and website.

Owner Michaela Pollitt and her husband Tony are experienced in the equestrian industry and are both keen showing enthusiasts, having competed at both the RIHS and HOYS. Michaela is a show judge and instructs as well as running clinics.

The shop has become an integral part of the local equestrian community as a hub for great advice, it has an established reputation for outstanding customer service reflected in its 5-star reviews.
