Prize fit for royalty!
In celebration of the upcoming Coronation of His Majesty The King taking place on Saturday 6th May 2023, Showing World and Horse of the Year Show are pleased to announce details of a competition and prize fit for royalty!
The prize will see the winner exclusively meet the HOYS 2022 Champion First Receiver, notably the show horse that took the final qualification for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the first Horse of the Year Show Champion for His Majesty The King. Ridden by Katie Jerram-Hunnable, Katie expressed the significance of the victory at HOYS as “when I first rode for her [Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II] 20 years ago, she said then that she wanted to win at Horse of the Year Show, and now I’ve finally done it!”.
Not only will the competition winner get to meet First Receiver, but they will also meet the legendary former racehorse Barbers Shop, who was later shown for Her Majesty and is now owned by His Majesty The King.
The day will be rounded off with a flatwork lesson on your own horse/pony from renowned showing producer and accredited trainer Katie!
To top it off we are offering a year’s digital subscription to Showing World and two complimentary tickets to Horse of the Year Show 2023 for Sunday 8th October.
